VRChat
Video Player Error
Video players cant play videos and I'm not sure why.
I've Reinstalled VRChat,
Deleted yt-dlp, even replaced it with a git-hub version. No change.
Cleared Any and all VRChat related Cashes with no fix in sight.

Any insight on how to possibly fix this issue is great, its happened ever since the last update.

Eh, just give it a while.

Its mostly:

a: VRChat update messed up the Video Player prefab

Or b: Youtube trying to mess with it (no ads = no money)

Happens from time to time

i use vrcx, when players give errors they dont show the actuall error just "oops, i broke, error" while vrcx parses the actual error from yt-dlp 99% of the time its youtube thinking your a bot and since vrc gives no way to push youtube cookies you just have to wait, or go vpn. (the other 1% is region lock, rare)

yeah legit im not even joking this issue just suddenly stopped after awhile for me, you have to wait it out. The cause of it is youtube trying to stop botting and also to circumvent Ad avoidance. The video player that VRChat uses sets of youtube somtimes while its like going through its constant evolution, so we have to wait internally for the growing pains to end so to speak. Sorry bro.
