Age verified players locked to 18+ instances.

So i see a lot of people being happy age verification is coming. i fully understand, I just dont like the way its implemented but okay.

Now what i see in game are moste 18+ people in NSFW avatars just go to public worlds an ♥♥♥♥ arround, kissing doing erotic talk when dressed in less than nothing.
Instance/group owners yelling the N word and then just ban any one repeating them.
So i think those people are the problem. Not kids joining a instance and then finding out its 18+. Many get banned as soon as say say a word not getting a change to leave.

What I like to propose is if you age verify to get to the adult content you also get locked to 18+ instances only.
If you want so badly to do the erp walk nude we don't need you running between minors or any adult in public instances.

I seen a few young girls (group staff) in their 20's take minors to private rooms, strip down and pixel f^ck. You know personal mirrors don't lie.

Or guys sweet talk young girls in to erp telling them they love them and want them to come over, even promising them pre payed holydays. (happened to my wife by a group owner)

So i say, If you get verified to get to the 18+ content or dont want to be arround kids. You shall only be able to be in 18+ related public groups and instances.

The real issue here is in a 13+ game there should be at the most 13+ rules of non adult / non NSFW things

But since the developer / owners want adult / non NSFW things -AND- people younger then 18 they ran into this problem

Age verified players don't need to be locked to 18+ instances... they wanted them in the first place and will gladly stay there anyway

What should happen is anywhere NOT 18+ should be 13+ age rules and no adult / NSFW and ban anyone who does break those rules

But they probably won't do that either... they want it all and they want the money that goes with it without the consequences of mixing the two

Replying to white Knight: its not really that they want it is that if they did they removed it, their playerbase would nolonger be economically profitable.

Replying to OP: if you actualy think people walk nude around and talk about erp constantly, you either are going to the wrong worlds and just looking at what cancel media is talking about ive played this game since 2016 been around blackcats, just B clubs, great pugs, ive see EXTREMELY minimal of any of this, the reason you might be hearing talks about ERP is if you bring it up, even then the conversations about it are minimal and short, im not saying it doesnt happen at all but only times ive seen it are in adult social groups that warrant that kinda thing, so you must be going to the erp groups to see this like i dont know what to tell you because not even in drinking night where people are drunk sloshed, not even they do this sorta thing, iim happy age gating is a thing, its not gonna open the door for public erp, its going to make it where adults can hangout with adults, and not with kids

They're doing this out of profit not love, it's a business not a social charity

If we were locked to 18+ instances as you suggested, that would risk a multiple dummy account issues for moderation to deal with. What make you think people won't get bored with the same playground time and time again? There is always guarantee a moment where people want to see NSFW stuff with strip club, bars, or even BDSM world but at some point would love to see themselves drive a car, feeding ducks or go fishing before logging out.

If I were locked to only 18+ instances because I apply myself to NSFW world and felt want to see more than just NSFW stuff...do you think I won't make second account so I can visit that SFW world where I can drive cars, feeding ducks and fishing? If it meant more access to more world, you bet I will.

And let's not pretend that SFW labeled instances would stop people from acting NSFW nor NSFW label instances is always filled with people talk about booba and wiener party. People do what people want to do and they will. Its always difficult to find solution to this when most people involved don't play the ball; or just drop it since it would affect their reputation in the community. Not that I can blame them since its partly VRC team fault for not making up their mind about the app direction aimed toward.

most the adult or 18 group stuff i seen with adult avatars or suggestive most dont use them in frotn of strangers or new people of the group till they can verify they are not under aged. and this is talking about groups even in furry community small groups that been hanging with each other for close to 30 years and its like every one decided to show u p and crash on friends couch play video games kind of vibe. But those that just run around in adult avatars in public areas or so on eather are kids or the equivalent of a tourist to another country not knowing the local social rules XD

This has not been my experience. I frequently see people using hypersexualised, near-nude, and otherwise age-inappropriate avatars in public instances. Many have high trust ranks.
I don't have an issue with people using curvy avatars that show some skin, but many I see in public go beyond the game's age-13 rating.

Congratulations on your amazingly horrible idea.
The only thing that your idea would do is completely invalidate the age verification update, because no reasonable person would give their personal information to a corp just to have their access to VRChat be limited.

The point of the age verification system is to make it harder for children to enter adult spaces, not prevent adults from hanging out normally in regular spaces. It's not gonna completely solve the issue, but tbh nothing will.

Absolutely not. Locking “verified” users into 18+ lobbies alone will fragment groups and isolate those who have genuine reasons to not “verify” their account.
