No I do not
I don't care if VRChat gets my DOB it's Persona getting everything else I worry about
and i ordered some "adult beverage" for new years through doordash. guess what? they use persona as well. people need to accept that this is now a thing going foward and if you want to access certain sites or purchase certain gods ID is now required.
But in my opinion, considering you're giving them personal details, I really think it should give a *MASSIVE* trust rank boost. Like, I'm talking User -> Trusted. Least they could do considering we're sending over sensitive personal information.
Read their FAQ. It's about as good as privacy and security gets for something like this.
They delete everything (minus your date of birth) and replace it with a hash as soon as they have done their age checks, and your info doesn't get passed on to anyone else.

And before anyone brings up "Persona getting sued", that was some Doordash staff in Illinois, US claiming that they broke some local laws (under a totally different agreement that the one with VRChat), and it appears to have ended in Persona's favour.

I'm personally all for the ID checks. The huge number of minors on the platform need safeguarding, and and the VRChat team have stated that they want to age gate content as a next step after implementing age verification and adults-only instances.
I do not trust VRchat.
Yes, VRchat claims they never see the data, if that's the case then let me log in directly to persona's website, then I'll do it.
"But they said they delete your data and never see it"
That's just their word, which they have tarnished already.
Yes, it's illegal, companies get away with illegal stuff all the time because all they have to do is not get caught.
thats not how persona (or any 3rd party verifier) works bruh, you want to use service, service requires age verify, service gives you a link to persona with a temp token, you load persona, do the age thing, persona sends "age+hash" back to service with the temp token. age verify complete
