Can you buy a a pico 4 pro from where you live? I found it near impossible to get myself as it seems to be largely stuck in the chinese market, and discontinued, just like the quest pro.

They seem to be about the same price nowadays. But keep in mind a quest pro needs accessories to be good. A different headstrap, and battery packs at the very least, different hand straps as well ideally.
I do not know if this is the same for the pico 4 pro, but I would imagine at least battery packs are needed.

In terms of features, the pico 4 pro controllers are not self tracked like the quest pro ones, a large downside personally.
Though the pico 4 pro does have better resolution.
Pico 4 pro i can order on aliexpress (bruh but they checking in airoports like crazy)), Quest pro i can buy in shop with guarantee.

p.s. i just checked this clip, sooo its still same differences? pico cant track eyebrows, and quest cant track tounge?

Quality wise, Quest Pro is probably more ideal no matter where in the world you are. I have a Pico 4 Pro and a friend has the Quest Pro. Pico's eye tracking works pretty well but the face tracking is noticeably worse than the Quest Pro, and you have to move your mouth a lot for it to pick up, while it seems the Quest Pro doesn't require that much.
Both are the same for the tongue where you can only move the tongue in or out, not sideways. And Pico has no eyebrow tracking but Quest does, as you mentioned.

Comfort wise, the Pico 4 Pro is fairly comfortable straight out of the box but if you can get accessories, then that always helps. I've heard the Quest Pro is really bad without accessories, and you've probably heard that too.

I think the battery for both are around the same but in my experience, you can charge the Pico while connecting to your PC wirelessly to extend the life by a bit (maybe an extra hour or so). I'm assuming something similar is possible with the Quest Pro as well.

Body tracking is probably better with Vives or even SlimeVR. As far as I know, Quest Pro doesn't have any body tracking and Pico has their own trackers that you have to buy separately.

The Vive XR Elite also has an eye and face tracking addon but together they cost a lot more than both the Pico 4 Pro and the Quest Pro. Also I've heard the setup is really janky, but it's worth looking into if it interests you, and it's on sale right now.

TLDR: Quest Pro has better tracking, Pico 4 Pro is more comfortable with no accessories, and battery is about the same for both. No body tracking for either. Any questions, feel free to ask.

Also the video you linked is a comparison of the Quest Pro and the Vive Pro Eye, NOT the Pico 4 Pro. Vive Pro Eye is discontinued and really hard to buy, you probably know that.

This does appear to be the case, I see a lot of pico 4 pro owners in the vrcft discord server add a vive mouth tracker to it, likely because the built in isn't good enough for them.

Pico Motion Trackers need a Pico headset I think, so probably not, you can't use a Quest with the trackers. If you have a kinect, it's possible to get it working but it's definitely not as good as having trackers and you'll notice a lot of drift and glitching with your tracking. But again, if you can and want to then go for it.

So SlimeVR is probably your next best option if you don't want the whole base station setup with Vives and Tundras, but they are a community backed project so shipping may take a while. Best to check their discord for updates if you're interested: https://discord.com/invite/SlimeVR.

Well pico pro never left china, so no country had them cept webstores based in china.

As for the quest pro, barely any store sells them as well, I know of only 1 Dutch store that still has stock, and most places no longer sell due to it being discontinued. Norway never even had them in the first place haha.

I can only buy pico 4, not the pro even with the official pico store here at Southeast Asia.

The pico full body tracking is pretty good with at least 3 trackers. If only 2 tracker, it can be hit and miss, just serviceable.

Yeah I think the Pro only sells in China, hence why you have to buy it from sellers like AliExpress.
