If that doesn't work, report the issue to VRChat through something like their zendesk and do a fresh install of VRChat [deleting all VRChat files from your computer.]
you will have to go into event viewer and filter by bugcheck reports and see what it matches on the provided chart. check the bugcheck error against this list and act accordingly as per the listed instructions.
also if any changes were recently made to the device's hardware, revert those changes if possible and see if the bsod persists. the pc also may have came with bad drivers so make sure to update them from the manufacture's website as well as update windows.
Verify GPU drivers are up to date
Is this the only game that is causing the blue screen error?
Do you have an Intel CPU? 13 or 14 gen?
Best thing you can do is getting WhoCrashed and have it read out your minidump file, it will give more information about the cause of the BSOD.
My best guess is that your specs are insufficient and your laptop is overheating.
New PC that works with all other games I have and workstation software:
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core with 32 GB Ram andNVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Super
Laptop that works with most other games and workstation software but not great at Ultra Graphics Games without rollplaying as a jet engine and lagging a bit:
13th Gen Intel I9-13900H with 48 Gb of Ram and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU
My old PC which runs it somehow and doesn't even load some newer games, SteamVr, or fluid simulations because old:
Intel Core i7 with 16GB Memory and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
All have been updated on Geforce Experience to latest, I run a Quest 2 through SteamVr which works with all other vr games I have tried (Warthunder, DCS, Zero Caliber, Elite Dangerous, and Minecraft Vive). I also tried running VrChat on non vr mode which also crashed my whole system on New PC and now on Laptop as well.
VRChat is a lot more demanding that other VR games as the community content is not professionally optimised (and often not optimised whatsoever).
If you get past the launch issue, use these settings with "Max Avatar Download Size" reduced to 100MB: https://github.com/shugy0/max-vrchat-fps
"New PC that works with all other games" null point x 2
"workstation software" x 2 on none functional pc's, not on functional pc. by "workstation software" do you mean some company required kernal level stuff? if yes, eac is also kernal level stuff
"when searching %AppData%/../LocalLow/VRChat/vrchat/ on Windows Explorer like they say it says no items match your search"
have you disabled hidden folders in view of file explorer?
