They have nothing to contribute and the last thing you want is kids hanging around drunken adults.
Some groups have rule on who can enter in terms of age this may be because the group is based around things minors are not to be seeing or hearing. As wolfenstin and Disco previously said some adults don't want to be around the nonsense that younger users do and instead want to be with other mature people there to just have a drink and chill, maybe even flirt with someone without needing to worry it could be a minor and that's fact, VRChat is strictly for users of 13+ meaning if someone suspects you are under that age you will be asked for your age or kicked/banned straight away to remove and potential disruptions or issues.to avoid being kicked if your above 13 but under 18 is to just play in your own friends+ to invite only instances or to join a non Group Hosted Lobby.
It's a power trip thing.
Random People Online who have NO Legal Authority who also are Anonymous (what is their age, name, ID, etc?) and have no Affiliation Or Coordination With VRCStaff and Make Up Rules Which They Pick And Choose What To Enforce.
Also some of the people want you to join a discord and have a real video call and show your REAL ID. That is insane.
I will never tell someone random online my personal Information. That is completely unsafe and I highly recommend NOT going to places like that.
So like your username: Just Say "NO"!
The answer to this is simple
Don't join those worlds.
Remember: You are not entitled to other people spending time with you.
reminds me of: https://xkcd.com/1357/
You are joining an instance where most of its "group" members are drunk.. and believe it or not but most of these drunks know that they would rather be spending their time having conversations with other drunk users.. children are not permitted within these specific group instances because there is zero relation.. they just dont belong around drunk adults.
This is good for many reasons.
If having a bouncer reduces the annoying people and facilitates actual interaction then that is a good thing.
1. The vast majority of kids in public lobbies are nuisances.
2. Kids shouldn't be exposed to NSFW, and NSFW communities don't want to surrender their lobbies to kids.
The easiest solution is to make group public lobbies and have bouncers age check everyone who comes in.
