problems with suggestive / nsfw avatars in publics

hi. if youve ever been in a public vrchat world before, you might have seen someone with their willy out or their nips out. its way too common. ive seen kids young as 7 using avatars with those features on.

nope. not at all. avatars are still being uploaded without tags AND children are still faking their age to see these types of avatars.

"Couldn't you report the user or avatar thats being used?"
didn't work. I reported a kid & the avatar tags for wearing that stuff in public. a few weeks later I still see that kid and that avatar. ( The avatar is a public FNIA [Five Nights In Anime is just a bunch of sexual 💩.] avatar that had a willy and nips out. )

there is a way to counteract most of this though. when creating a instance, you can create group instance and mods of that group can warn and kick people. this can be used to flush out children, or like i said nsfws in publics. I dont know if vrchat will do anything about this, since its pretty common and might be pretty hard to moderate in cases where there are no group publics.

What can they do thats the thing.... the public avis nsfw yea they will get banned eventualy but realistically what can they do....

I really question what you people join to find these things.

I've joined over 30 random worlds in the like 20 hours i have played and I have not found a single NSFW avatar.

Or rather, to be more accurate, I have found a lot of avatars that support NSFW, however, all of them were dressed decently in public.

I can't help but wonder what you people are joining or if these aren't just fake stories meant to cause outrage.

it's one of those things you can't put a number on, because they happen but it's all spontaneous

I do see naked avi from time to time and I do report them when I see them (i don't mind ppl having nsfw avi as long that they don't get naked in public lobbies). Also, if you saw a few 7 years old, you should report them; the minimal age to play VRChat is 13 years old.

Welcome to VRChat. If you can think of it, it exists.

Turn on some of the avatar filters in your game settings and it'll block MOST (but not all) of them.

It is a parents problem, that their kid has a headset and plays VRChat, while seeing some nsfw avatars. It's not VRChat fault tho, cuz they can't just control it. It's like with 18+ sites, they can't just verify or control that

Yeah for real. Boobs are the devil. Can't have my children seeing that! I want to raise them as wholesomely as possible. Only highly violent video games and movies with heavy gore. But a naked woman? No. Not my kids!
