Seems like the VRchat been requesting the movies to be taken down... I can only speculate but I wonder if the copyright sharks been threatening lawsuits? If yes then it won't take long before the other movie worlds get the axe too.

thing is the streaming worlds like movie and chill is not true piracy one could buy all the movies digitise them and stream them for free as they own rights of use type stuff.

Also they don't monetize it, though i'm no longer that much acquainted with jurisdiction so i can't tell if it's even that illegal in the first place.

more or less it be like movie and studio chill place having their own copy of the movies and having a big party showing movies. The take down wasnt from VRchat persay but some corp like disney or so on brought a complaint.

Since money is now directly involved in VRC, there is a big risk for lawsuits, as warned by pikapetey a while ago.

The movie worlds are always trending, ergo there is large demand for movies...... hey anyone wanna take a bet that VRC will build it's own cinemaworld? Where you will need to spend real money to watch movies ?

pff I think it's time to look at other vr platform, as some people mentioned it's getting too corpo
