VRChat

Anyone know a way to stream to media players in VRC in near real time?
Youtube doesn't work to well for screen share because of the delay.

IIRC the newer Video players, the ones using AVPro support RTMP and RTSP as streaming protocols. So you have to setup a streaming server of your own who exposes the content with one of those protocols, or you could use the VRCDN (subscription based).
I think you can get the latency down to just <1s. But that's pretty much the maximum with those protocols. webrtc which can have a way lower latency for example isn't supported.

Can you elaborate on why WebRTC is not supported? Is this something to do with VRChat specifically or with video players in VRChat just not supporting this functionality. I'm asking cause me and a friend have been trying to set up a little private streaming server thing and webrtc works wonders.

Sure, I can elaborate: webrtc is supported by unity itself, but not implemented by VRChat.
You could open a canny and ask for it to be implemented ;)

Were you ever able to get this figured out? I've been trying to get this done as well with my family who live far apart.

https://web-screen.net/en/ exist but is more delayed then YouTube from my experience. Since I don't really need to share my screen in real time anymore I just put up with the 10 second delay.
