VRChat Mobile for VRC+ Members

How do you all feel about it? I am VERY excited for it (Hoping it has ChatBox because I need that to communicate).

How do you all feel about it. Will you use it? Are you VRC+ or will become VRC+ for this update or do you not care for it?

The only downside is that it's for VRC+... it will apparently be open for EVERYONE in a few months and I think that it is OKAY because EVERYONE will be able to use it!

I think this could take a bad turn IF it was only available for VRC+ PERIOD. A progression to a "PAID ECONOMY" where you can only access important things for VRC+ would be bad...

BUT so far I am VERY happy and feel VRChat staff has made a very good monetization practice that doesn't hurt Free2Play players... And therefore I will join the VRC+ to support.

Unfortunately my phone seems to be incompatible with the VRC Mobile app... That sucks!

guess you wherent around for the "there will be more FREE ui background designs none vrc+ members can use Soon!" that was when it came out, to this day (what like 3 years now?) there are still only 4, so i wont be holding my breath on that bs line.

Being condescending and trying to make an argument isn't very beneficial... I've been on VRC for a long while (So saying "guess you wherent around" comes off as kind of rude).

VRChat has a lot of content most games would monetize and money grab ALL the way. I feel VRChat does a great job giving us all the free access and only monetizing very basic things that aren't so important to our lives.

I don't understand how a phone is supposed to be able to run this game when the Quest already struggles. The amount of unoptimization present in worlds and avatars makes me doubtful.

It runs on the quest version of the game and the average smart phone from the last couple of generations has about as much, if not more power than a quest.

Phones are not stronger than the Oculus Quest 2. It takes a large amount more effort to run something in VR than in a flat, 2D image because the VR headset essentially has to render the same image twice, while also keeping things at an acceptable frame rate and resolution so as to not make users hurl. Add the power dedicated to cameras and tracking on top of that and VR is rather demanding.

So, no, your phone is not "stronger than the ♥♥♥♥ oculus lol".
