Physbones freaking out in-game
Was helping a few friends with avatar stuff yesterday, which was first time I got on after the last update, and we all noticed that a lot of our physbones were twitching rapidly and were a little hard to look at without getting sick. Got on today to see if updating my project with the SDK on the website would fix it but the bones still seem to be freaking out. Has anyone else been experiencing this and is there a known fix? Thanks.

I figured it out. So i was making an Ice Wraith avatar from the game Skyrim, and it is essentially a hand puppet. Whenever i'd move it, the bones were jittery. From what I found is that my root transforms on the bones were left blank which means it thinks the game object, or in my case the player, was the base transform. I set it to where the 2nd bone all the way to the last bones root transform was set to the first bone since the first bone was the head of the Ice Wraith.

So that is the answer I am giving you. You just need to make sure your bones root transforms are linked to which ever bone is the base of what you want to make jiggle and flow smoothly.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
