All the good stuff have already switched. VRC+ has become meaningless another time.
Infinite favorites, so on. Custom menu background isn't added yet, but might be.
VRchat can change where the hole is. causing the injectors to not work. But that'll only take a day to for mods to fix. So, at best...EAC makes mods not work for one day every week (since there's weekly updates).
Best thing VRchat can do is set up bidaily updates that scrambles or randomly obfuscates the code. It'd be demoralizing enough so that client makers would stop, probably. But as a big company, the idea of pushing out a 200mb update every day is unreasonable. They'll instead ignore mods exists, and be happy that the amount of users has drastically been limited, and each patch for it will be marked as a ''security fix'' in the changelog to avoid attention.
What VRchat might be able to do, is complain to EAC and get assistance. Maybe that was the plan all along.
I mean all that the devs care about is the business side so yeah it's highly possible they will try their best to patch that instead of working on the actual problems.
