Uploading Avatars... Possible with Steam Account?
Is it possible to upload custom avatars to VRchat using a steam account? Or do you have to make a new VRchat account? I'd be nice to have a few to upload and choose from, but I don't want to bother with it if it means losing my friends list.

You need a vrchat account. It needs to be able to log into unity to attach the avatar to your account. Steam accounts can't be used in unity

Its almost 2020 is it now possible with steam account?

You can now make a vrchat account, and link your steam account so it transfers your stats, friends, ECT over to the account and you can upload
