Is getting blocked by someone in your friends list permanent tell they unblock you?

So last night I think one of my friends blocked me for little or no reason. Does getting blocked mean we can never see each other again even on a different server. Hes still in my friends list btw.

If he blocked you, that means he will not be able to see you at all in servers. It's obviously permanent until they unblock you. Friends list, i dont think you can even go to him either.

IIRC you cant see them and they cant see you. you can go to the world they are in (if its allowed via being public or open) but you will not see them. the only way you will be able to see them again is if they unblock you.

Well if someone do that, what i would do in your situation, i would access the api: https://www.vrchat.com/api/1/auth/user/playermoderated

Get the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ sourceDisplayName and copy that on vrchat website browser, then have fun unfriending muting and blocking back. And dont give a ♥♥♥♥ if he unblocks you keep him blocked, i access the api every day after playing and take note to the mutes, kicks and blocks, i think i have blocked 80 players as for now and no regrets. Pretty much most of them are obvious visitors that go with knuckles outdated meme or earraping with microphone music.
You mute me with no reason, blocked, you block me without reason, blocked back, you kick me, double blocked.

Ok, so update time. I saw that my friend got back online today and they actually joined my world because i was hanging out with his friends and he unblocked me. I could tell that he was drunk when he blocked me and he probably didn't know it was me. So no hard feelings.

Try not to worry about getting blocked. I don't think anyone blocks people out of pure anger. They're just filtering out people that they feel they won't get along with/aren't interested in talking to. Try to compare it to what you feel when blocking someone. You don't *actually* hate people that you block, right? It's just a way of filtering the players. If one person is in a conversation with another and feel that they're not getting along, then they're doing them both a favor because a bad conversation is just that, very bad.
