No, unless you can plan on meeting up with her in a month's timespan or less, and even so some girls would refuse to send photos of themselves so its going to be up to fate if they are unattractive or not when you meet them.

You need to make it not a big deal when she sends a photo or not, so make a couple jokes about her being shy and flirt with her to make her feel comfortable, but sending a photo of yourself won't really help much.

And even if you do things right, a number girls for perfectly legitimate reasons, won't send photos anyways because of privacy reasons, or they heard horror stories about jealous ex boyfriends leaking photos online, or they are extremely insecure and want to keep your interest for as long as possible.

I read so much negative things in this thread.
But I've met some people who met in VRChat, and now living together, I also met a couple which is now married (yes, legally married).

about 13-14 years ago I've met a couple which met themselfs first in World of Warcraft.

Things like that can and do happen. But as always, the constellation has to be right.

But maybe a small tipp: don't take it to serious, at least not in the beginning. Just roll with it, but don't expect too much. But maybe, after a while it becomes something more serious.

My partner and I met on freaking Gaia Online lol, we've been living together for almost 5 years, most rewarding relationship I've ever had.

It takes work to make long distance relationships work, but the idea of 'oh, online isn't real' is flawed. You can have a fulfilling online relationship that leads to more and the fact that people STILL think you can't is kind of crazy. Yeah, it can be hard and risky, but so is any relationship.

Don't listen to these sad people. Yes, you can meet people in vrchat and have a real relationship if you want. Many many people do it and end up meeting in real life. Everyone's experience is different.
