and i'm still visitor, what am I missing?

see i'm in steam vr-chat and i have about 122 hrs and i finally hit the user rank, i don't know honestly, i'm still confused myself cause i thought you needed to have a vr-chat account. Maybe i'm just dumb lmao

No one actually knows; none of it is public. There is an algorithm but no one really knows what all is taken into account and how much weight each thing carries. However, If you are blocked, kicked, unfriended, or whatever by a lot of people then it will for sure drag you down. With 99 hours and a lot of friends, I would assume you will rank up soon.

You need to link Steam and VRC account together, as soon as you hit that, you'll be new user. No hidden exp towards ranks will matter if you haven't even merged accounts.

This is false. I don’t have anywhere near 200, and I still made it to user. You just have to keep spending time in worlds and occasionally get added, and not get muted/kicked/reported consistently.

Don’t use avatars that make sound when you enter a room or that will get you blocked or hidden real quick, I see that a lot these days. Just use a VRChat account, play the game and don’t have negative interactions happen to you and you’ll get there eventually.

I'll be honest once you link your actount and play enough to get user, it's up in the air. The game never really gives away known or trusted for a specific reason. It will just happen once you play enough

False. You just need hours in public worlds, make friends and not getting blocked. Uploading does help it but you can go beyond User without uploading.
