Shortcut to turn on the third person view on PC?

Hello everyone !

So basically I accidently pressed a few keys I don't remember, then I was suddently in 3rd person view (on PC, not VR), and I had no idea how to turn it off, so I restarted the game.

Does someone know the shortcut to turn on/off the third person view on PC? Based on a few threads I've read, it shouldn't be possible to turn it on since I was playing on PC, so it might have been a bug...

vr user here, i don't know how to fix your issue, but if it helps the mode is called "holoport (3p locomotion)" there is a toggle for it in the settings but its greyed out on pc mode. if you can't fix the issue still, i would recommend contacting vrchat themselves

Could have been the model used. Maybe pressing some of the animaton combinations might have done that.

It depends on which world you're in, most worlds don't have that, the only world I've been to on desktop which has 3rd person camera toggles was Bricktown Udon.

3rd person view for desktop isnt a "base game" feature, some (read very fiew) avatars have the option, and some worlds have it, such as japan shrine. so chances are you where in one of those worlds and its usually keys 1 through 4 on the number row (NOT the num pad)

That was exactly the issue I had, I was in Japan shrine! Good to know, thanks!
