Username question about merging VRchat and steam account.

I'm just wondering about what username i get to keep if i link my accounts.
i got this username on steam and another for vrchat.

if i link them will i be stuck with my steam username?

No it will always use your VRC name, since VRC account names are Unique

Also remember you can only change your VRChat name once every 3 months. Can't change it whenever you want like steam.

i wanted to keep my vrchat name and not my steam account.
i got a custom model went to use it and it said, gotta be trusted my dude.
i heard linking steam account can help a bit.
