is it possible to have hip tracking only?
I can afford one vive tracker and a belt but not the rest and I was thinking about getting the hip tracking only and get the rest later. This article https://docs.vrchat.com/docs/full-body-tracking mentions two modes of motion capture, but my friend told me it's not possible to have hip tracking only without the rest because he's tried it and others told him the same.

VRChat supports 3 trackers for full body, or 1 tracker for hip tracking only. There is no configuration for 2 trackers, or anything more than 3 trackers.

Wow. Can't help wondering what "hip tracking" is for?
Guess that makes me a pervert, (or just male) if there is a difference these days. :)
