PLEASE HELP VRchat stuck on a loading screen right when you launch the game

ive been playing vrchat for the past few days and this is the first time ive had this problem. it is a loading screen with a square speech bubble that says vrchat in it and wont go past that and keeps saying to make sure i'm connected to interent and restart the game which i have done many times i even tried to restart my pc and uninstall and reinstall the game.

i seen this other guys discution and a guy said that the servers are having problems. my guess is becuase new years

Servers are having major issues rn. Most worlds wont load, or stop loading once downloaded. Give it time, they are working on it.

Yeah I am having issues too. When i am in desktop mode i can download new maps. but in VR the dowload always fails part way through then throws me back into my home world. Pretty frustrating...
