got banned for no reason

Welp, seems I'm not alone in this?
Hope it get fixed soon, for one of the few times I want to hop on VR Chat and check out rooms I could show friends later on... BANNED... ;-;

Same here, but someone hacked me.
I saw several messages on my E-Mail, that someone tried to log in from different countries.
Guess what? I don't touched this junkyard for almost year.
Now i have ban for "hacked client" and can't even change my password to protect my account.
Tech support just fock me over with this case.

I had the same issue. I hadn't played for months and when I returned I was banned. Just email their support from the VRC website and they can help you. They got my issue resolved same day, actually. Just explain the situation as clearly as possible (don't type a paragraph explaining you're upset and miss your VRC friends, for example. They know hehe) and you should be ok.

Also, the moment you can access your account again, either through the website or VRC itself, scan your friends list to get rid of anyone you don't know ASAP. Some of the people who steal your account will fill it up with their friends and you'll be right back where you started with the ban in no time, so be careful.
