USB 3.0 Dac up vs USB 3.1

Hi i have the Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Ultra Intel Z390 So.1151.
They say on the Webside the USB 3.0 Dac up (yellow) is best for vr, but i use USB 3.1 on the backside. i have nothing to measure the performance, has sombody tried that yet and is the "slower" 3.0 better because of the higher voltage? I use a Oculus quest via Link on my pc, i have a 5m active extension and a 1.8m anker cable.
