Looking for Roleplayers

So I'm part of a bigger RP group that is open to new and casual RPers who are looking to try VRC RP. A lot of the RP groups seem to be invite only but this one is pretty open and accepting of everyone. So there is that. Also I stream and have taken my character there and have started a side RP arc with a few others and would like to get some more people involved there as well. We usually start late, around midnight to 1AM EST. If you have questions or think you may be interested in SWC RP then you can find me on discord at Darksabre#0001. What sort of RP?

DnD?
structured games with mixed RP like werewolf?
ERP?
picking an avatar and becoming that character through and through?
Family RP where we just become some big family and build a storyline around this?
Life RP? (Are there even maps for this???)
VRARP? (Like LARP but in VRC)

Oh I guess I should of explained more. I guess out of those options this is for VRARP. You take on a character and role play it like LARP. VR isn't required.

So for the larger group RP you create a character, backstory, etc. and they open up a lounge map several nights a week for casual RP. So you attend the lounge/casino as your character, as a patron, and just RP as you want as your character. Many people will then for smaller groups and break off and do side RP with their characters away from the lounge which is what my small group has done.

The large group is all improv, and casual RP based on interaction between everyone involved. It has things in place to keep it peaceful, so no combat. Its meant for new people and to be a safe place to expand your characters.

As for the smaller group I do it with, since I and a few others in it stream, its a bit more structured and presented like a running tv series. Its not scripted but we discuss it together so its not chaos and the story flows.

I wouldn't really call it family RP. Most of our character met in the larger group and we just started out own story lines away from the lounge and keep building on that with new issues, troubles, arcs, etc. We've not done full combat yet as that seems hard to do in VRC but we've got some action stuff coming up that we're trying to figure out how to do. So to give a more precise example, my character is a mafia boss type whose father was just attacked in prison and we've been planning a prison break of sorts.

Characters can be about anything and can have powers and such but obviously nothing too OP.

The larger group is called Purple Lotus and is run by Satchi. So they have some of their own rules for attending it but its open and a pretty nice place to start out. So I'm not over that but have sent them a lot of new RPers.

Sounds interesting, if it wasn't for time zones I would have loved to join in.

Hey I don't know if you're still interested, but I made this server, where VRChat Roleplayers can join in to find people to play with. This one is more focused on EU-Timezones, but everyone is welcome if they are okay with it.
I hope this server will be helpful to create own RP-Groups in the future, I certaintly hope to have my own little serious RP going on.
We do very casual RP-Sessions right now every Saturday, where people join the "Milk-Bar". I play the owner and bartender of the place and it's been only fun so far! You can be whoever you want to be :D

Yeah if anyone is looking for RP you're more than welcome to message me. The smaller rp group that I lead has been a bit inactive as of late due to RL stuff and scheduling but I can help get you into a couple larger groups if nothing else.
