I am a bit confused here. I'm almost 46 years of age and I enjoy going on vrchat just to socialize with people and have a good laugh. But recently I'm getting a lot of kids asking me why I'm on vrchat. Considering we know what the purpose of vrchat is for why are they asking this question of me all the time? Meeting new people, having a good time and talking with other people is not age restricted.

Yeah... Some people think that games like this are just for kids... Which is kinda silly. Especially considering that nobody under 13 is even supposed to be playing it.
I would say the average player is in their mid 20's... But some of my friends in game are in their mid 30's. I'm sure you're well aware that as we get older, age doesn't matter much regarding friendships, but plenty of kids think that they own "gaming" and past a certain age, you can't play stuff like this anymore.
It's unfortunate that this is happening to you, but all i can say is to just ignore them. You know you're welcome here. just keep enjoying vrchat

Well, I might be almost 46, but I still have the soul of a child I guess. I'm not what you could call a serious adult, not by a long shot. I am seriously having way too much fun with my Zeno Avatar. If only I could find more DBZ avatars who are willing to play along with my Omni King Av, that would be great, especially a Goku one. :D You know, going from World to World doing that groveling to Zeno schtick, except for Goku of course.

I'm 35-years-old myself and I feel right at home in VRChat. I don't care if some random people think that I'm too old for this. Screw them! I know someone who's 65-years-old and she goes to VRChat every day.

Don't let the kids/trolls get to you. It's VRChat, shrug it off and find more likeminded people to hang out with :P Or just enjoy the chaos of publics.

26 almost 27 and get along much better with ones my age or older most of friends are in 30's or older still go on random worlds because not many are on when i am can't stand some of the younger 13 year olds or around that age that play "normaly ones who give me crap how i sound and other bs"

I thoroughly enjoy VR Chat and love socializing with everybody despite your age. Now then, if anyone with Dragonball character Avatars would love to go from world to world role playing with my Omni King avatar that would be great. Must spread the respect for Lord Zeno.

Oh, lol. My Zeno Avatar is a very special one. I actually found a 3D skin online and a talented stranger put it through Blender and animated it for me to use in the game. Honestly I have no idea where you can get yourself a good Zeno avatar from all of the resources out there. You have to make them yourself.

Fortunately I've not had that issue but can't say I've ever mentioned my age (37 for the record). I've seen one world where someone was going around asking how everyone is and if they'd asked me I'd just say mind your own business :P But most voices I've heard have sounded grown up, with a few kids.

I love how things like age don't really come into it on VRC, you can hang with whoever. Imagine if a random 50 year old was talking with a random 13 year old IRL, lol, probably straight into a cell and ask questions later
