Alternative skeleton rigging solutions
Like a lot of people I have very little experience using blender, so I usually use adobe mixamo to put skeletons in downloaded humanoid models. One problem: no working jaw bone and if you look down or up, the chin warps. Ive tried learning to use rigify in blender but everytime I attempt it I end up with an avatar stuck in Tpose. Are there better options? Or at the least better/newer tutorials on making them in blender?

I also use mixamo but then go into blender to clean up the weight painting on the chin and under the arms, there are great tutorials for it.

Jaw bones look horrible imo, setting up visemes using the cats plugin in blender is a much better way to expend effort because the results are so much better.

Ive a guide for visemes on mixamo rigs, you can find it on my profile.
