Kicking people REPORTS people! It makes it so the Mods get a whole pile of reports about people being kicked for nothing and thus makes the Mods ignore the more serious kicks because they believe it's just another person getting kicked for a pointless reason.
If the Mods stop caring because of this then VRChat is going to suffer for it. So please think before you kick people. There are better ways.
Also if people want to only be around their friend they can make friend only servers where those that aren't their friend, like me, can't join and thus removing the problem.
My only reason for being annoyed by this is it was a PUBLIC server and thus EVERYONE IS SUPPOSE TO BE ALLOWED! Do you get it now? If it was a friends only place and I got invited by mistake I would understand. But no, it was a public place that anyone could get into regardless of if you are a friend or not.
And I was kicked with in seconds of that thumbs down. Only had enough time to heard the guy trying to impress me go 'aw' is response to my not being impressed with his animation.
People like you may think kicking people is some 'fun little game' to be played but to others, who are trying to look around and check out what other people have made it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying as hell.
Not to mention that kicking people from public places in a socail vr world is basically saying 'we don't want you around' and for a lot of people vrchat is their escape from that sort of thing. Hell one day while on myself and a bunch of other people had this girl in the server who was so sick of everyone muting her when all she wanted to do was sing her song. Like she was really crying because no matter where she went people just muted her. Myself and those around at the time listened to her song, and she really was a good singer btw, and you could just hear how upset she was not only when she talked but in her song too.
People just really need to stop abusing the kick, mute, and block options.
Not to mention I'm getting a little tired of people trying to be the next Ugandan Knuckles and trying to make it seem like people don't have a choice in what avatar they use.
Now I'm not saying I don't see the appeal to trying it out. Some friends and I did a raid as one avatar but we didn't force anyone to join us and we quickly fell apart and just end up hanging out in one server for a while until we had to get back to rl. But we didn't try to kick people in public servers we they refused to join us. We just moved on to someone else.
I don't know why I bothered going into such a lengthy talk with you. Clearly you don't care and it's all a big joke to you. But to someone like me, who struggles socailly it's not small nor funny. Online I can actually bring myself to talk to people I wouldn't normally be able to. I might not have talked when I came upon you, but that was because it was like 3 or 4 in morning and my parents sleep in the next room and my sister shares my room, there for I can't be on mic all night. I like living, and I like having my pc and internet. So forgive me for not wanting to piss off three people in my day to day life, two of which pay the bills and keep the internet on, just so I can talk to people like you who most likely would've still kicked me anyway.
Not everyone has the freedom to do whatever they ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ want whenever they want and I'm just so tired of everyone expecting everyone they meet to be just like them, or to just 'deal with it'.
I'm going to stop talking now cause I'm almost in tears over this. But I am never coming back to that world, not that that matters to someone like you.
