help with clownfish

So I saw some people in this forum recommend clownfish as a voice changer, but whatever I do I cant make it to work. How do you people do it?

clown fish is for skype you want morphvox or a vst plugin for a daw(i use fl studio) and i get the plugins from some site(99% of plugins are paid for) same with any decent voice changer, i honestly recommend hardware as a voice changer as it will make it sound more normal then software does(these are called fx mixers which are around 150$) but needs xlr mic as far im aware, you can get morphvox for free(via illegal but i wont tell you the site), again clownfish is for skype it even says it on their site atleast it used to be

Clownfish worked for me last night on VRchat. It works for lots of things other then skype. Works with video editing software and sound recorders. As well as steam calls and voip calls.

Right Click on the orange clownfish logo in your task bar on the right and then click setup. Orange means its on. Grey means its off. Make sure its installed to the default microphone your using. sometimes it installs to the wrong audio device. I can confirm it works on my system. I was talking like a robot with it last night. Granted I was using Oculus Rift mic so maybe your mic is not compatible or you got it setup to wrong audio source?

Don't use Clownfish for Skype. You specifically need the Clownfish Teamspeak fork (It works on everything, not just Teamspeak).

Just an update, my mic is not compatible with any voice changers, but I can still talk normally with it. (who knew mics on cameras arent compatible with those, cuz I didnt. Guess Im saving money for a real mic)
