Can I Use My Phone as a VR Headset?

I have a samsung galaxy s7 and a google cardboard VR viewer.

Is there any way for me to use that in conjuction with my PC as the headset for VR games?

yes you could.. would i recomend it, no and you still need a pc capable of vr.

Rift with touch controlers is a nice setup if you dont want to spend to much. The Vive also has a "Pro" model coming out soon, better resolution, intergrated headphones (like the Rift) and its also wireless. I am sure it will cost a ton though.
