Convert MMD model to VRChat avatar?
Is there any way to do this? I have an MMD model I want to use as an avatar but when exporting as an FBX in Blender, the model shows up as transparent with no textures in Unity. Is there an easier way of doing this?

yeah this is the tutorial i was using, but my model came out as transparent with no textures
did you move the texture as well into unity?

Yeah, I think it might just be the model at this point

I'm trying to use the Lana model from this pack if you want to take a look at it, no idea what I'm doing wrong

Alright, I've set the shaders properly but now I've got an issue where the face doesn't load when looking from the front, and it seems like there's a bunch of transparency issues.

you need to flip normals

yep, that's what I thought, I'll check and see if that fixes it

good news, that worked, the model looks right now
but now I'm getting these errors when trying to export

did you rescale your model? spawn a cube into the scene, should be slightly taller than that
also it looks like the bone mapping did not correctly identify the bone you might have to do that manualy

ah yeah the model's scale went crazy, it's the right size now
how would I identify/map the bones? I've never done that before
select the root of the model in hierarchy, then select "select" on inspector, click on rig, then configure should get a screen close to this if you did it correctly https://i.imgur.com/w9r5Y0z.png

yeah it definitely looks like some of the bones are wrong, no clue which ones go where though, and it seems like some of them might not even be selectable? the entire left hand is unmapped and the lower spine isn't mapped either
