I suggest ye make the model it self, Metasequoia is an easy basic modeling software(much easier than blender for me personally)

There is also Onigiri online (if ye want an anime avatar)... You can create yer characterthere and the ingame funcion lets you export yer player character. Ye will also need pmx editor and Blender to convert it to unity(tupper's tutorial vid should help you on that part)

Thx for the great advice, i've speeded through tupper's videos, thats what made me want to creat my own. Just a little unsure if i will be able to make things like the face and joints so they can be used properly in the vrchat tho. i've seen how its done and all, but to get it right is a whole diffirent thing. ps. just noticed that i remeber your name, i've seen your avatars when i've been looking around. They are really good.

How to import my own avatar to the VRChat?
First, don't necro an 8 years old thread.
Second, read the official documentation: https://creators.vrchat.com/sdk/

If you like anime then VRoid is nice, free and 100% royalty free.
People say it's trash, and they're half right, but you can make some genuinely awesome stuff in it if you know what you're doing.
