I've been playing this game for well over a year. Today SF is asking me for account details to login. I have no clue what my account name is on SF. It won't let me login through Steam.

I have the same problem, yesterday I could login simlpe and easy, and today, it's like my connection to S&F with my steam acc has been wiped. I was last online 19 hours ago, didn't change anything, but can no longer log in.

I had the problem too - contacted support and they said to login with username & password via the button at the bottom of the screen - couldn't remember password so used the "forgot password" and got it reset. Tried again with username & password and all works fine now.

I logged in after the update and I can't get back in. Directed me to give SF account name and password. I've no clue what the account name and password is. My fault, I didn't save that info. just that it logged me in through Steam every time without that info. Oh well, 1800 hours playing time, I guess it's time to move on. :)

The question is, why dont you just click on "login with steam"? -.-

ps.: You are playing just 6 months and already 1,800 hours? You dont need to let the game run 24/7.

Not sure where you got "6 months"? I've been playing with 5 characters for well over 1.5 years, maybe 2? Now that I'm thing about it, 1800 hours is a lot! As far as login, I log into the game usually twice a day and always through Steam. I run the quests then log out. Now, upon opening SF, through Steam, it now asks my for an SF account name and password. I don't recall making those and I didn't save them. Maybe this last update did something?

I have done that, of course. And it sends me to an SF login page which I don't have access info. :)

If I click on 1 (steam button) I see this, and 2 (login button) leads me directly to the game.

If it doesnt there is some serious issues and only the support can help you.

I have never seen that screen you posted. I'll contact support, I guess. That will probably be more hoops to go through than it's worth. But thanks for you replies and help! :)
