The game doesn't play

So, I decided to try out the game since it's being advertized in the idler Steam event. I downloadeeed, ran the game, and it does nothing? I see the screen but the bar won't move. I tried to force close it from the task manager and reopen it, but still nothing. This does not work on Steam?

Do you use VPN or software that might block access? If so, please turn it off (VPN) and grant access.

Thank you for the reply. I don't use VPN and the only firewall I have is from Windows itself. I deactivated it and still the progress bar won't move once I launch it
