Did you like the new update?

I didn't like it, I feel like it's harder to find the sections now. The old version was easier to use :(

Almost half my guild is not logging on due to this horrible update, when they log on it is just so that they don't turn red and in the hopes of this update be reverted. I am all for new things that make the game better but no one asked for this. Don't fix what was not broken. I gave this new UI a fair chance, the only thing I like about it is the extra amount of information it gives now but other than that it is a downgrade over the old UI navigation. The updated graphics are a hit or miss depending on who you ask but that is not the biggest issue. The real issue is that it takes more time to navigate to things than before, it is not just a good experience at all. Instead of going for a total revamp, it would have been better to have used the old UI and enhance that if the devs wanted to do something apart from giving more content to folks over level 500+ that have been asking for years.

I get it, the effort was to revamp the UI and make it playable from mobile in the hopes that you'd get more users. Sadly that may come at the cost of the faithful users. I have close to 7,000 hours on the game and may not log back in. The new UI requires that I drill down to find things that were readily available in the old menu (I can find them and probably get used to the new UI, but I'm not sure ATM that I really want to).

I'll wait for the next patch and see what things look like, but probably won't login until I see that new patch posted.

I fully agree with your positions. I have tens of thousands of hours of gaming under my belt and have been a member since 1996. I HAVE seen this game fall apart and in other ways grow. I didn't switch to the S&F account but stayed with the "Local" version in Fusion which caused a lot of confusion.
I agree: the new programming with one foot in Facebook and another in smartphones clearly aims at young people although in the presentation it says that it does not want to aim at young people as a commercial objective.
In this, the chats (at least the Italian ones) in my opinion from what I have read have always seemed "clean" to me
However, the real problem remains... the destruction of the game that occurred. in the summer there is a collapse in gaming and you change the game in the summer without doing a beta (as you claim) or a survey.

Yeah, no.
I wish so much that they just bring it back, like this new UI is interesting that it shows you so much, but it's just way too much for me.

They really just should make the current UI optionable in the settings.
Because i'm pretty sure that the team took time to make this all, and they definetly don't want that all that time to go to waste.

I agree. Im learning a hard and slow lesson regarding these type of games. I'll keep playing due to sunk cost fallacy at this point, but im no where near as engaged as I once was before. This was a terrible update.

i need fast fight click with other players not try to find swords icon in lot od useless menus.

I click so much around to find the right Tab, old style was much easier to find anything, give us a SHORTCUT selection so we can put the tabs we need most there!

Also guild overview is horrible, before i could see everything very easy, now i have to click through what feels like 5 tabs

sono perplesso da questa novità. Sembra che la ditta abbia voluto migliorare la grafica "fumettosa" (dei fumetti ) con una grafica più evoluta . E' vero che il gioco si presentava come un gioco con una simpatica grafica divertente e da fumetti. Forse i grafici dopo aver introdotto vari personaggi (e questo lo sappiamo è la mossa per chi ha problemi di giocatori ) . Ma dicevo, giocare su una grafica evoluta è un'errore quando non si può competere sul mercato in questa direzione e quando faccio notare molti fumetti famosi sono semplicissimi anche nella grafica. Segno che non è la grafica che fa giocare soprattutto giocatori per decine d'anni ma altro . E li state perdendo in tutte le gilde...
Io sono entrato nell'1996 ho deccine di migliaia di ore di gioco quando i giochi gratis erano rari mi sembra . Ora invece è pieno e tutti ne hanno qualcuno in Libreria oltre a Shakes .

To me, the menu is the biggest NO.
For the rest, I'm still hopeful I might get used to, in a few years...
