Fortress counterattack abuse

Not sure if this is an intended functionality, but just today in the morning my maxed fortress has been targeted and attacked twice by the same person in a precise 3 hours succession, thus taking resources in the count of billions.
If this was an intended mechanic, I could see how maxed fortress attacks could potentially get really toxic.

How often did you attack this player? Normally, if can only counter-attack once after your attack.

Slight misunderstanding. I was attacked twice with rapid succession, see screengrab below.

Worth mentioning, that I was able to retaliate and counterattack twice in the same way as well, as the UI provided a Counterattack button twice by selecting the fortress defence entry. There might be some validation checks missing in your API or something...

Counter attacks can be saved for later when you pin the mail. It’s not bug or anything, the fortress is just a untouched and stupid feature.
