Icons in heraldic shields along the left side of the book have additional unlocks. Hovering over them brings up label bubbles that say Achievements, Monsters, Valuables, Warrior equipment, Mage equipment, Scout equipment, and Legendary Items.

Clicking on Valuables brings up (common, then epic) Necklaces/Amulets, Rings, and Talismans.
