i cant do quests "please help"

o.k so ive noticed this problem before and some how it resolved itself. i go to the tavern and all the 3 quests i can choose from non of them will allow me to do them. the duration is showing in red lettering...is that a problem? what in the hell is going on here? how do i do quests? is there a number of guests i can do in 1 day?

There is a thing called "Thirts for adventure"
You spend points in this bar doing quests. If this bar reaches zero, then you need to wait till it refill or talk to a barman and spend some mushrooms. "Thirts for adventure" bar refills once a day for free.

You have more "Thirts for adventure" (or better less travelling time) if you use a mount. There are four different mounts with different changes on the travelling time. The best mount for example cut the travelling time in half, so you can "double" the use of your "thirts for adventure".

Please have a look to the witch. She als enchants your boots for less travelling time (30 seconds per adventure).

The witch can be payed by gold, the highest mounts costs 25 mushrooms.
