Password + email
I just started playing the game through steam and now i want to play it with my phone but i dont know the password of the acc and the email...what should i do?

If you created a character linked to steam then you can't use it on phone.

+1 the devs prob overlooked a LOT of the things that came with steam...

Well, I dont know if this issue has been fixed, but... that is the solution.

In the Steam version of game, click on the "X" on the right top off the game until find the character management
Select "administrate" on your char and change the email and password. (you maybe need to confirm the email)

Now, log in the smart phone version using your login name (same of your first char) and the password you have created.

This does not work, no email arrives even when checking junk mail. I have tried a few mail services including using the email my ISP gave me just incase shakes and fidget was blocking gmail and hotmail. People have complained about this for steam before that no verification was sent.

I created a test account on the browser to see if it was steam, and sure enough the email works on the browser version while steams does not.

Hotmail didn't work for me, so I had to use mail.com.

My character was made on steam and I can play him on my phone without a problem.

That doesnt work either, I tried that earlier. It seems to be only steam that has the problem. I tested the validation on a test account using a browser and even hotmail works. But when I try on steam, its no go.

The following emails that did not work for steam version:
comcast.net
hotmail.com
gmail.com
mail.com
protonmail.com

It's pretty weird. It has been like this since the steam release, and they didn't bother fixing it.

So I noticed something odd, I decided to make a second character on my steam profile on another server to see if its an error on my character with international world 14. On that new character it gets two options after clicking manage, one called "change password", the other "change email address". While on my main character it only shows one option called "Set Password".

I tested to see if I would get an email with the new character if I set an email, and sure enough that new character gets a validation email, however my main character doesnt. Whats different is the change email address also doesnt automatically log my character in like "set password" that shows up on my main and "change email" on the new character also asks for the email twice while "set password" on my main doesnt.

I think for some odd reason the game thinks my first character already has an email set for it even though I did no such thing.

If it is a steam account it does not need an email. Though you may wish to set one, I have never managed to validate my email for steam to get bonus mushies despite being able to login with my email and pw. Also you should be aware that not all email addresses are accepted, by that I mean it does not like hotmail email address.

You need an email if you also want to play on other devices or browser which is my case. Also hotmail worked just fine when I made a test character on international server 1 using steam and then clicking change email after character was created, but that change email was missing on international server 14 with a set password instead which doesnt work.

Also if you read my previous message, you would see that I tried with multiple email addresses. It just seems to be a major bug on international server 14. It also seems that my support ticket didnt go through and I am now in contact with a dev on their forums.

Its too bad that the developers ignore the steam forums and that I had to go to their forums to get help.

Out of curiosity, does yours show as "Change password" or "Set password"?
