WHy the hell is it so difficult to delete a character?

So frustrated. I have a few extra toons I no longer want on my list, but it's virtually impossible to delete them. Tried with the password - not recognised. So submitted for new password - new password not recognised despite being sent to me by the game. Sent a ticket to Playa Games support - told to unlink from steam so did that, but then same run around with passwords. I mean come on I'm not trying to access Fort Knox. At this rate I'm verging on just deleting the whole damn game in frustration!!

Click on "Manage", then click the dust bin icon...and remove the account without checking the "delete" option.

Really? Really? It was that simple? Thank you Leander - should have come here first rather than submitting a ticket. if I could i'd buy you a beer!

not checking delete is obviously not deleting them. but thats ok, the game needs those npcs. makes it more fun for the new players. starting up with only level 200+ characters around would be rough.
