I love when ppl can answer me nicely. wow
I dont like pvp I never did. And you can´t say nobody don´t mind being attacked.. I do :P We differ in opinion but there is no reason to be rude. I asked nicely if there was a way to disable it and I had hoped on a nice answer.
I dont think its fair that a lvl 38 can attack a lvl 25, if pvp is forced upon us then it should be way more balanced toward ppls damage and lvl than it is now
No, you can't disable PvP, sorry.
I can however give you tips on how to mitigate most out of it.
Turn off notifiations.
Spend your gold, don't let it build up. This is true up to about lvl 100, after that the gold loss is a true pittance.
Focus on defences and woodcutter/quarry. Turtle up on the fortress.
You can get the most out of the game without PvP, it will be slow but it can be done. You will miss out on a handfull of achievements, that's it.
Sounds weird, but let me explain:
Every time somebody attacks your fortress and wins, you'll get a 24 hours protection, guarding your resources. Everytime somebody wins against you, your protection resets. They can only raid the resources from buildings this way, but not your stock.
Attacks on your player on the other hand, can't be avoided. You won't even feel the difference, but bear in mind, your scrapbook won't fill that way.
I get what you're explaining but since the player won't be aggressive at all and without defences he would never be able to save up enough resources for later stages of upgrades. And when he's not attacking he won't climb rankings that much so he would be quite safe from other players.
Edit: regarding scrapbook, some items can be aquired via the toilet and companion dungeons. He will miss about half tiers of basic gear however....
I rushed it to 16 like that and then started building the lvl1 wall because it looks weird without half the buildings. I'm at fortress 18 now.
If you're on a new server, make at least a lvl 1 barracks, so that you can attack other people who are doing the "no defence" build.
2) As long as you dont have the part protection buff, you will lose 10% of your mats when you get attacked. If you have just 18m, ofc you dont will even notice you lost something.
