Please help regarding fortress

So how does one attack another fortress? Do i need to build things to raid fortreesses or what. Any help would be great please.

build Barracks, train some soldiers, press Attack

Fortress has to be level 2 or 3 before you can build the barracks. Out of curiosity, is there a level cap on these that we know of yet?

A level cap of the buildings, or troops?
Fortress caps at 20, and the barracks cap at lvl 15, with max 45 soldiers. Dunno about the troops lvl cap.

Thanks thats actually exactly what I was asking.

Basically I can force my fortress and workers buildings up and go back to the rest later with shorter build times.

You can do that, but if you keep your resource buildings low, you'll either have to attack people all the time, or wait longer for resources.

Buildings that cap on 15 are treasure, workers, archers, barracks, mage tower.
Everything else caps at 20.
