Nothing that I can see about the Floating Crystals... What is their function/benefit, please?

Hi. I did try doing a bit of looking around to find the answer, but to no avail. So, I ask here... What is the benefit/function of the floating crystals the map?

Also, while I'm here... Does being in a guild get each player any personal benefits, like Mushrooms, for example? I see that mushrooms can be donated INTO the Guild, but that's about all I'm understanding with regard to any relationship between Guilds and the mushrooms.

The floating crystals were a future expansion idea I was told, they don't help or give you anything, nothing ever came of them.

Only mushrooms you buy can be donated to the guild. As far as I know there is no option in guild to get bonus mushrooms from the guild itself. Other bonuses for being in a guild though are 1. xp boost depending on the upgrade of the trainer 2. gold boost based on upgrade of the trainer, the cost to upgrade gradually increases, there are various tables that show the cost of the upgrades. You have to upgrade the guild to be able to invite more people to join.

Guild raids on dungeons give 2% bonus to xp and to gold and some xp, easier to do them with a group of players, so the need for a guild.

PVP raids give bonus honour, ranking for the guild and xp if you are the attacking guild that wins.

and finally guild bonus is ranking, big whoopdido...

Sounds like Guilds in Gems of War are more beneficial to the members.
