Lydia Stuck - bug?
This is my first play through and I've reached the second time you act as Lydia (in the secret lab)

I've dealt with Sykes and moved through the doors to the next scene - but Lydia refuses to move when the scene loads.

Is this a bug? If so, any known fix?

If not a bug, what's going on?

Hello Surfblasted. Thank you for reporting this issue to us. I'm unaware of this problem so I'll get in contact with the rest of the team regarding what you have asked and see if we can get back to you with a fix or a workaround to solve your problem.

Wow! A month later and still no news on this issue from the devs - but hey! I found the solution by looking at the Bug Reports forum, where another player posted this same issue and another player provided the solution.

Way to go support team! :steamfacepalm:

Anyhoo - for anyone else having the unresponsive Lydia issue, continue moving her using keyboard and mouse. Pretty soon the controller starts working again :)

At least I finally managed to finish the game.

Hey there. Sorry about not getting back to you. I did pass this question on to the management & development team & even asked them again during the following two weeks. I got no response back from them which is a shame, This does happen from time to time but I am glad you found out the solution. I'll put it in my notes for in the future if others come across this problem.

When it comes to a support team for State of Mind. I am the only one working on the Steam forums currently. I am a volunteer who works on behalf of Daedalic, not a paid employee so although I do have better communication with the rest of the studio it's not perfect & can some times be difficult to get responses if the management team are busy or on holiday. Again sorry for the inconvenience and no response. I'll be sure to give someone a talking to about it in the morning but I am happy to here that you figured out your issue.

Thank you for getting back with an honest explanation - truly refreshing in this day and age. :steamhappy:

I'm sorry to hear you're the only one involved - but kudos to you for making the effort.
