This Game Is An Enigma
Its out of nowhere release on PC in a work-in-progress state I honestly shouldnt be surprised at.

Everything about this game is weird and unexpected....And thats why I love it.

At least they've been pretty opened about the state of the release, the same can't be said for a lot of other publishers/devs out there.

Yeah. I don't mind that the port is in an awkward, unfinished state - I'm just totally floored that GG2 even RELEASED on PC. I mean, it's not my favourite entry in the franchise, but man - it's Guilty Gear's Black Sheep of the franchise. On PC.

The only way today could get more awesome out of the blue is if EDF4 got a PC Port announcement.
I don't know why people say it's a "work in progress" if it doesn't have things PC owners take for granted. It's not just being ported to PC, remember; it's being upgraded in ways the 360 version never will be. It'd be just as "finished" if they dumped the exact original game on PC, warts and all.

It's not an enigma at all; it's a good game that died far too quickly, and a very important part of Xrd's background.

Its a 'work in progress' because a bunch of features & options are coming in future patches.

I mean, the English Dub is coming in a patch. Its not just PC specific functionality.

Lets release a game out of nowhere and add essential features later on. K

If only that would happen. PC NEEDS a real EDF game instead of that crappy insect armageddon one we got. The online co-operative modes on it would be insanely fun.

I mean it in the sense that it's that one Guilty Gear game that breaks the existing mold in a big way and that a comparatively miniscule number of people have actually played.

It's a "Remember That One Time There Was A 3-D Guilty Gear Beatemup Game?" type situation. Yes, there's also Guilty Gear Judgement (which I actually rather enjoyed, for all its faults) but unlike Guilty Gear 2: Overture, it is non-canon/not part of the plotline.

I've checked... Still no P4A or P4AU to make the week, or even the month more awesome.
If March was the BlazBlue month, April should be ASW's other releases month. And May, Guilty Gear's month with GGXrd -Revelator- hitting consoles. And May's month as well, of course.
BlazBlue Central Fiction is still Arcade only.
Haven't heard any development for the Console version and the Singleplayer contents and such.

What would be really nice though, would be slightly improving GG2:O's engine. If I'm guessing right, BlazBlue's 3D engine is based off it, so those improvements might be ported over to BBCF. And that's where it gets awesome, because you would not only have an improved version of GG2:O, but BBCF would also be the definitive BlazBlue experience in terms of roster end engine.
