Humanity has fallen. The undead roam the land and the few remaining survivors have taken to the sea in search of refuge. To survive, they must maintain and upgrade their boats, venturing back to the land they once called home in search of resources, loot and sustenance. But every expedition could be their last and it’s not just the zombies that are out for blood…

Your boat is your base: upgrade and customize your vessel to craft, fish, house survivors, and defend against raids while navigating the vast archipelagos of Washington State
Go ashore at your own risk: Explore a coastal open world for resources and loot, but stay alert as both the undead and your fellow survivors will have no regard for your ongoing survival
Co-op survival: team up with other players and think twice before engaging in shootouts; every shot or loud confrontation risks drawing the zombie horde or alerting other nearby survivors
Safe harbors exist: Find player hubs where you can socialize, rent anchorage, and regroup between expeditions

1. Is this a full-fledged survival game with hunger, thirst, fatigue, injuries, etc.? 2. Is there stealth? 3. Are there any custom difficulty settings? 4. Is it possible to make the HUD almost invisible and disable all interface and audio prompts? 5. Is it possible to set the timescale so that the day lasts at least 8 hours of real time, and ideally 24 hours? At the same time, make resources much more scarce so that survival remains a difficult challenge? 6. Is it possible to disable auto-saves and limit...

I think the tutorial level should be the player escaping the outbreak

Have a linear section where the player escapes from a hotel, or a traffic jam, or a refugee camp or whatever and then makes his way from point A to point B for like 5 minutes, through houses and back alleys ending up at the docks, then the character can learn to use the boat alongside the player. The last section of the tutorial could be casting off just in time to escape a load of screeching zombies. Going through the outbreak would make the player feel more connected to the character and make the settin...
