Fishing Mini Game Easy Mode

Can we get an easy mode for the fishing mini game so I can just get through it and complete the door? Even if I get nothing from it, I just want the door completed. I can't beat Norche and it's driving me insane, especially knowing there's another after her.

Gone up against her several times already and it's always the same story. I know exactly what I need to do, but she always manages to get on top. Either I don't catch the carps I need to get, or she manages to catch that stupid crab worth nearly 300. That's almost always what happens -- almost like it's programmed to be likely -- that it'll come down to the wire and she'll pull that crab out her ass and manage to come out on top. I just rage quit now. This mini game is not worth the effort, but I want to be able to open the last door.

I know what you're saying! I'm stuck in the last one. It's ridiculous. You have to catch a fish, to use as bait to catch another fish an then use the second fish as bait to catch a third fish. Not that Norche wasn't hard and annoying too. I hope someone make a cheat table to change your number of points and skip this pathetic mini game. Reminds me of FFX and it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mini games. I should have know ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ was coming when I read there were doors with mini games...

Fishing game does have some luck involve but I'm quite sure it's always possible to win, it's just how much you're allowed to screw up to win. I failed the third one I think 3 times before winning it by a huge margin (double of Mr Fisher's points) when I got a perfect (all caught) run. Spam shrimplet then use kasago and sea bass as you get them and make sure you try your best not to screw up the timing and you'll get it evetually.

I'm surprised to find that someone acully having a hard time with this one since I finished all 3 difficulty in 1 try, I ended up getting 2 Marlins against Baron too, I thought it was the easiest minigame in 3rd and I love fishing in SC. The card game and Bobcat were the hardest for me

I managed to win both card games 1st try somehow, obviously got more than a bit lucky. Found the shooting one with Josette horrible though, barely managed to scrape by after 3 tries on easy. I do agree it's more than a bit frustrating to make these mini-games mandatory in order to view all the doors.

You were obviously really lucky. In my last match with that lady, she missed like her first 4 tries, while I caught 2 fish that were each worth 175. Then her first fish she caught was a crab worth over 300. On the very last round I was still ahead, and she catches another freaking crab worth over 300. I wanted to break my keyboard.

I played through this game three or four times and every time I had no problem with this minigame whatsoever. As long as you don't mess up a catch and go for the very simple "catch baitable fish then use them to catch bigger fish", the chance of losing is really low.

Yeah, i beat the Fishing Minigame on my first try, while screwing up two catches against Fisher

Sure, i could have just been lucky but the odds of winning certainly aren't impossible

No its not always possible to win i think, although i did everything from 1st try, only last one took me like 2 or 3, i still think it has alot of RNG involved. First to get good catch you need to get fish bait, the reason i lost 3d trial was because i fished 5 smallest fishes in a row, and your opponent don't need to proceed with a pattern of getting better lure first, he can get blue marlin 400+ at any point, while you need to get kasuno, than sea bass ( or get lucky and get bass first ) and only than you MIGHT get blue marlin or probably other big fish, so it is very possible to lose.

For some reason, I beat all three opponents on my first try. I assumed it was just programmed to give you an advantage or something along those lines.

this mini game is just tedious and with the RNG element involved just ugh... it wouldn't be so bad if I didn't need to sit through the animations each time but you do and its a pain.

Well you guys that beat it within a few tries are damn lucky. I've gone against Norche like 7 times already and every time it was the same exact story. And that's just NORCHE. Not even the last guy. So that's 70 rounds. That's insane. I'm not dealing with this.

actualy its not hard. Use the second pole and change between baits each time. When you get a heavy fish which can also be used as bait go to 3rd pole. After that back to 2nd. Pretty much same thing with president as well.. standard ocean one, change between baits when needed and use the last pole when you fish up sea bass or the other one.

You need to be a little lucky to beat the fishing game. Once against the fish baron I was leading by 200 points, he caught a big fish worth 300+ point in the last round. If this is not bad luck I don't know what it is. Two or three times later I finally beat him. I won't even bother with this mini game next time I play the game but this time it was worth it, because star door 14 is really interesting, one of the best doors IMO.

The point is these mini games being required so you can see all the story content of the game. It doesn't make sense to me. It also doesn't make sense why the others have an easy mode and not this one. I wish there were more doors with battle requirements and story content instead of these crappy mini games. The only ones I liked were the arena and black jack.
