Quartz reward for fighting 300 battles?
I've heard people say you get a special quartz after fighting 300 battles without running. I need some specifics on this like where it's at. I've fought way more than 300 battles, haven't seen this quartz.

Pretty sure this is a myth. I've seen people also saying this in the FC and SC discussions.

I've read that it is fight at least 300 battles and never run to get the item in the final chapter. Conversely you have to run from at least 300 battles and you get a different item in the final chapter. Never both in one playthrough.

I dont know but I sincerely doubt it's a myth since I heard the same thing from a user on xseed's forums who I haven't caught lying over the course of several years. They specified you may not run once ever however. otherwise, you need to r un 300 times to obtain another, different special item. I know not where or when these items are obtained however.

It's very real. I got the "Mirror" quartz and the "Fierce Fighter" achievement by participating in 300 battles and running from zero of them. You can only get it during the final chapter, however; it shows up in the middle of the fountain where you can regenerate craft points.

Edit: As a slight clarification, the achievement activated upon claiming the quartz, not upon meeting the requirement. It's also specifically 300 battles and not necessarily 300 wins -- I got it with 300 battles and 299 wins. You can thank everyone's favorite bodyguard for that revelation.

Mind posting some screenshot of them?

If you mean a screenshot of the quartz itself, I have the stats for it, since I got it in my Japanese playthrough.

The name is Mirror (Japanese name is Heavenly Mirror) and it's a fire element quartz.
It gives the following elemental points: earth 6, fire 8, space 4.
The character it's equipped on loses 20% of their max HP, but has a 50% chance to reflect any physical attack used on them.

And from a Japanese wiki I've been using...
The other quartz is Reflect (Japanese name is Demonic Mirror), and it's a water element quartz. You get this quartz at the same place and time, but you have to run from over 300 battles. You can only get one or the other on a single playthrough.
It gives these elemental points: Water 8, wind 6, mirage 4.
The character it's equipped on loses 30% of their max EP and gains a 50% chance to reflect any arts that are used on them.

I haven't ran from any battles. I will warn people that there is a spot in chapter 3 that gets dark, and if you get in a battle before you get the night vision goggles, your only option is to run from that battle, and I had to reload an auto save from the previous room, and get past those sections without getting into battles before I got the night vision goggles.

There is also only 1 set of goggles for a small chunk of the chapter which is a pain.

Here's the Mirror quartz. I cannot provide evidence for the other one, but since I only knew about it due to sources like omgfloofy in the first place, and it matches the description, I'm fully willing to assume that the other is also true.

I see. Thanks for the Info

Hehe! In FC I saved up 1000 of each Sepith for an achievement. Hilariously it was called "Why do you have so many?". I even got the next one for having 3000 of each, even more amusingly this achievement was "You know you can sell those right?". I did sell them all and essentially broken the economy, but by that late in the game it was a moot point and getting the achievments was a hoot.

So I have 450 battles with no escapes/run at all at this point.

Though I am only in chapter 3 or 4?

Have I already qualified for the physical mirror item, or will I have to continue playing through the game and NEVER running at all basically until I can grab the item?

You have already qualified, but Mirror doesn't become available until the final chapter. So you have to keep your 'flee' count at 0 until that point.

To get one of the quartz you have to get 300 flees from battles or dont BEFORE the last chapter right? or u can still get the one where if u flee from 300 battles on the last chapter even if u don't have 300 runs yet like you can get 300 runs from battles during the chapter itself?

Should I just spam fleeing on chapter 6-7 to get this then?
