Cannot join friend's game

I can see my friend online but when I press the "Call to Blackjack" button or try to join an open seat at their poker table, nothing happens. Also, when they request to join my private blackjack table, I accept the invite and again - nothing happens. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix? We are experiencing it on Steam and the app on our phones.

Have you verified your email? Otherwise you cant join friends table.
