They can stick this nonsense where the sun don't shine.
she offered advice as a "simple answer" to a question... she told you, didn't suggest, in all caps even, what to do instead of making an attempt at answering your question.
I will guess a few possible reasons in an attempt to answer your question while waiting for a developer to clarify this issue. you asked a very specific question, not for advice.
a possible answer to your question might be...
fiat currencies and their exchange rates... maybe Gop3 memberships or Gop3's failure to code correctly.
Gop3's use of the pound symbol for pricing might be used as "your dollar" and might not be representing the actual currency and amount required for the purchase for where it is being sold.
if this is the case exchange rates might explain why. An example would be the difference between buying something in EU pounds compared to Mexican peso's. the difference is 1 : 18.5. therefore the same purchase may cost two different people in different countries different amounts. Using the example I gave you... that 3 pound purchase would cost someone in Mexico a little more than 55 peso's... in game that might be shown as 55 pounds which would be incorrect. its should say that the purchase is 3 EU pounds or 55 "MXN" peso's... because not all peso's are the same. one or the other.
another good example... the Ukrainian hryvnia/dollar is where it rightfully belongs. Its arguably overvalued yet only worth 2.5 pence... that 3 pound EU purchase would cost someone 120 hryvnia there. in game they might see that as a 120 "pound" purchase because their steam wallet is in their countries currency <--- I don't know this, its just a guess.
it might also be special membership pricing or the developers inability to code correctly.
my guess is international exchange rates and/or Gop3's "quality" coding.

Dear ARingMaker,
First of all, thank you very much for your answer!
You're right, the first answer to my direct question, that's not an answer. The world and no craft can ever get better if we follow incorrect advice when asked such direct questions.
However, someone else responded before you and wrote the following:
"they are expensive for you because you bought stuff. if you did't it would be cheaper."
I think this answer is very close to reality!
Accordingly, GOP will probably program its offers:
Anyone who buys there has to pay dearly. If you never buy anything, you get cheap offers.
And now for your explanation, dear ARingMaker:
I also think your explanation is partly correct!
Someone from a team explained to me that it would be better to buy your chips through, for example, Malaysia. Unfortunately I have no idea how I can buy chips from Germany via Malaysia. But even if I could and knew how to do it:
It cannot and must not be the solution!
Like you said:
The game programming needs to be adjusted or corrected here. Everything else is to my fraudulent disadvantage. I thank you from the bottom of my heart, ARingMaker, because you really took ownership of my question and answered it in such detail!
It's very sad and even dubious when support here doesn't do at least as much as you did!
Not to mention compensation. And that's why I believe much more in the answer:
"they are expensive for you because you bought stuff. if you did't it would be cheaper."
When I lost my 8 chests on Wednesday evening two weeks ago, I also wrote to support, even by email. The support lied to me and wrote that there was only one chest on Wednesdays.
That was a lie, because last Wednesday I also got 8 chests - luckily this time without a connection being lost on the first chest!
A support that consciously doesn't want to clarify because it wants to AVOID compensation - that's a company that has NO programming problems, but is deliberately programming to harm.
I think!
Warm greetings to you!
Hi Pesephone
