That's really not true.
I've gone from almost nothing to lots of millions so many times ..
Eventually I will get bored and play higher stakes than I should :D
Then I lose my chips.
So I've gone up and down many times.

Also add people you see on the table as friends.
Get a couple hundred frinds and you will get chips from them, when they send you chips to complete daily.
If you wait for a weekend where you get 2k chips from gifts it adds up.

Also go after completing daily's if you haven't already.
At first you probably can't completetly complete it, but you will still get lots of bronze/silver tickets.

Also at the end of the day .. Doesn't really matter if you're playing on the lowest stakes table or high stakes table.
It's fake chips.

The problem being you can't enjoy poker on the low stakes tables because they are overrun with players with millions (or billions) in chips just going "all in" on every hand just to get their 50 wins for the day. I am guilty of it too. They would benefit from a beginners area that isn't open to people with more than (for example) 50,000 chips or a certain level in the game. They probably would have demand for a place where there was a max bet rather than all no-limit games.

I lost a lot of chips today with three 9's... turns out two other people had full houses. Yes it sucked but in the scheme of things it wasn't real money. I also won a lot of chips after accidentally hitting "all in" and pulling a straight with cards I never would have played given the choice. It happens.

Well we all started with the same rank, and same low level of chips.

1) Don't engage in ALL INS. That's for experts only.

2) Don't engage in higher buy-in tables. To find your buy-in level, divide your chips by 100. If you lose the Sit & Go, you still have 99 chances to play the game.

3) If you are losing Sit & Go rounds like 5 times in a row, it's time to downgrade your Sit & Go table.
