refill chips without leaving table
Hi everyone, I was wondering how you can refill your chips without leaving the table and without using the auto top off. It's frustrating when you're left with f.i. 1000 chips and you have to lose them all before you can get a fresh amount of chips. I think I saw other players do it but don't know how. Thanks in advance!

Only games that allow you to refill, you can set that before you sit down. And it is called auto top off. It wont top off until your OUT of chips though, not like during a hand and you want to bid higher. Now some games don't allow it. Sit and plays, you start with what you start with and when your out your out. (My favorite games.)

I am confused why you wouldn't just use the automatic top off.

What disadvantage is there to using it compared to not ticking the option?

The advantage of not auto top off is when you are playing with an idiot and you do not want to refill, but only want to refill when you really want to.

I don't like the auto top off option because you easily lose track of what you have lost but I have seen other players adding chips in between games without leaving the table whenever they have only a low amount of chips left. Now I have to play all in if I have let's say 500 chips (and hope I lose them :-) ) before I can add chips again. So there is a way to add chips when you still have a small amount but I can't find out how people do it.
